Our international marketing strategist, he provides an unusual perspective into the business world. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he focused on corporate finance and specializing on strategic planning, his professional career began as Credit Officer for the leading commercial bank in his home country of Peru. He soon became the Brand Manager in Peru for Procter & Gamble where his financial research and analysis resulted in a return to profitability for two toilet soap brands.

Moving to Mexico City as Senior Associate of Booz, Allen & Hamilton, he was involved in the privatization of the Mexican banking industry and managed the team responsible for entry strategy into Mexico’s confectionery market for a large European conglomerate. He then was named Senior Vice President – Risk Management of Mexico’s largest bank – Banco Nacional de Mexico (Banamex).

Upon returning to Peru, he became Chief Advisor to the CEO of Banco Interbank in Lima – third largest commercial bank in Peru – involved in reengineering corporate and commercial lending. This resulted in 40% increase in loans, while reducing 60% of time required to process loans. At Banco Wiese in Lima, he developed and implemented the first on-line bank in Peru.

He was later appointed CEO of the Peruvian Commodities Exchange, a very prestigious position.

He has combined his extensive banking and financial experience with in-depth involvement in telecommunications. He served as CFO for BellSouth Yellow Pages before being promoted as Financial Services and Logistics Manager for BellSouth. This involvement led to his engagement by MCI Telecommunications as a Project Director.

Mobile 365, the world’s largest mobile messaging service (SMS, PSMS, MMS), has utilized his expertise as a senior consultant to define strategy and product/service offerings to the commercial banking industry – allowing bank customers to complete their banking transactions through a mobile device worldwide.

His responsibilities with Omega Systems Group Incorporated include devising marketing strategies for both domestic and international domains as well as establishment and development of the SMART™ Five-Star Certification program for training and equipping client personnel to become skilled professionals in systematic management of risk. His knowledge of our SMART™ (Systems Methodology Applied to Risk Termination) and its associated TOTEM™ software is invaluable in these functions.
