Our Sales expert, he is Chairman of SALES BUILDERS, INC., an international sales and marketing firm which also provides retained executive search, he enjoys wide international recognition of his expertise. His firm is dedicated to helping suppliers sell, distribute, and export products and services worldwide. He has been personally involved or led sales efforts in 72 countries.
After flying 80 combat missions in Vietnam as a Marine Corps aviator in A-4E aircraft and serving as 7th Marine Regiment Air Liaison Officer, he began his professional career in sales with Xerox Corporation -- followed by sales management positions with Digital Equipment Corporation, US Surgical Corporation, and General Electric Medical Systems. Prior to forming SALES BUILDERS, he was General Manager of Sales and Distribution for Solarex Corporation where he established a worldwide distribution and direct sales network.
His public service includes US Commerce Department's District Export Council for Virginia, National Capitol Speakers Association, Sales Automation Association, and lecturer for the World Trade Institute. In 1996, he was a consultant for 6 months in Poland for the Citizens Democracy Corps. Author of a recent Prentice Hall book, The Sales Manager's TROUBLESHOOTER, he holds the MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School and the BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is a charter member of our Board of Directors.
